According to insider, ISRO will launch XPoSat on 1st day of new year which is 1st of January 2024. XPoSat is an X-ray satellite that will be used to study the polarization of intense X-rays. It is India’s first but the world’s second satellite which is dedicated to the polarimeter.
XPoSat ( X-ray Polarimeter Satellite ) is India’s 3rd will be India’s 3rd space-based observatory after AstroSat in 2015 and Aditya L1 in 2023. This satellite will carry two scientific payloads (1) POLIX – Polarimeter Instrument in X-rays and (2) XSPECT -X-ray Spectroscopy.
XPoSat on 1st day of New Year
It is officially not declared by ISRO but according to some insiders, this satellite will be launched on 1st January 2024 on the first day of 2024.
